Eğirdir is a nice city that is partly built along the shore of the lake that carries its name, partly on an outcrop stretching into the lake and connected by a road to some small islands. The effect is that of a peninsula. A stay here is very relaxing, though maybe a bit dull. Climbing the hills in the back of the city provides the traveller with some nice views. I added here as an included gallery the pictures from a visit to Yalvaç and Antioch Pisidian, respectively a modern Turkish town and the ruins of a city of great antiquity on the other side ot the lake at an hour or so by bus.
